Objectives: 1. Building up a set of criteria for assessing the loss of products on offshore fishing boats (stick-held falling net, purseine, gillnet, pair trawl, oceanic tuna line and hooks), the criteria enforced by appropriate authorities. 2. Take trial assessments of post-harvest losses to some key products on five fishing gears; Proposing solutions to reduce post-harvest losses on offshore fishing boats. Content: 1. Study on building up a set of criteria to assess the loss of products on the offshore fishing boats (stick-held falling net, purseine, gillnet, pair trawl, oceanic tuna line and hooks). 2. Take trial assessments by the set of criteria of product loss assessment on the offshore fishing boats (stick-held falling net, purseine, gillnet, pair trawl, oceanic tuna line and hooks). 3. Proposing solutions to reduce post-harvest losses on offshore fishing boats.
