1. Investigate and assess the status of marine resources in Vietnam's coastal waters. 2. Investigate and evaluate the status of some basic factors of hydrology, oceanography, and plankton (phytoplankton, zooplankton) in Vietnam's coastal waters. 3. Investigate and evaluate fishing operation and fishery activities in Vietnam's coastal waters. 4. Overall assessment of the status of marine resources, hydrology - oceanography, fisheries; propose solutions for management, conservation, rational use and sustainable development of marine resources in coastal waters of Vietnam.
