Objectives: • General objectives: Identification of the status, trends and risk levels of environmental pollution and proposal solutions to reduce in concentrated aquaculture areas at sea. • Detail objectives: - To assess the status and trends of environmental quality fluctuation in several concentrated aquaculture areas at sea. - To assess the levels and risks of environmental pollution in several concentrated aquaculture areas at sea. - To propose manageable and technical solutions aiming at reduction of pollution risks in concentrated aquaculture areas at sea. Content: 1. Collection and analyzeing the existing data on environmental quality in concentrated aquaculture areas at sea and coastal areas in Vietnam. 2. Take some additional surveys for assessment of the status and trends of environmental quality in several concentrated aquaculture areas at sea. 3. Develop a set of indicators, methods for assessing and classifying levels and risks of environmental pollution in concentrated aquaculture areas at sea. 4. Proposing technical and manageable solutions to reduce the risk of environmental pollution and develop marine fish aquaculture that is adaptive to the practical situation, effectiveness and satisfaction of food safety requirements.
