* General objective: Developing the fishing fleet in the offshore waters of Nghe An aims to increase production efficiency and catching capacity, save costs as well as boost the economic effectiveness of the fishing fleet; to protect the environment well; to sustainably develop the local offshore fishing fisheries; and to connect businesses with fishermen to use the support from enterprises. * Specific objectives: - Build-up 01 model of boat of stick – held falling net with LED lights, including: + 01 LED system for concentrating fish, with suitable quantity, luminous efficiency, color…; + 01 LED system for gathering fish, with suitable quantity, luminous efficiency, color... - Enhance fishing productivity, increased economic efficiency and reduced producing costs of the boats comparing to the fishing boats using high-pressure bulbs - Proposed solutions to replicate the model of applying LED lights on the fishing boats in the offshore waters of Nghe An province * Content: - Content 1: Assessment of the status of light sources used on the offshore fishing boats of the stick – held falling net in Nghe An province - Content 2: Completing the fishing technology in combination with LED lighting system for the boats of the stick – held falling net in Nghe An province. - Content 3: Building up a model of LED lights applying to the offshore fishing boats in Nghe An province - Content 4: Training, technical training and technology transfer - Content 5: Final report and project acceptance
