Abstract:

Southeastern region of Viet Nam is one of the key fishing grounds exploited yellowstrip scad (Selaroides leptolepis). To forecast fishing ground for this species is better, the construction of the index (approximately optimal) based on correlation calculation, the selection of the main environmental factors are very important. Based on the calculated value of AIC, the main environmental factors related to areas likely to hight fishing productivity of yellowstrip scad.In Northeast monsoon, there are 5 factors and the highest of catch per unit effort of yellowstrip scad was observed in areas with sea surface temperature rangesof 26,5-27,0^oC, surface temperature anomalies in the range of -1,0-0,5^oC, Gra0 in the range of 0,02-0,04^oC/km, Chlo in the range of 0,5-1,0mg/m³ and Alti in the range of 20-25cm. In Southwest monsoon, there are 7 main factors andthe catch per unit effort of yellowstrip scadis highest in T0 areas of 29,5-30,0°C, Ano in the range of 1,0-1,5°C, Gra0 in the range of 0,02-0,04°C/km, Gra25 In the range of 0,10-0,12^oC/km, the salinity is in the range of 33,0-33,5 ‰, Chlo in the range of 0,2-0,5mg/m3 and EKE in the range of 1000-1500cm²/m².
